Using Per-User Preferences

Visual Studio offers a variety of per-user settings that can be accessed via the Options Dialog under the Tools menu. Nimbus adds a series of settings that are convenient for configuring commonly used defaults in IVI driver projects. Rather than storing these preferences on a per-project basis as with the Driver Settings Editor, the settings under the Options dialog are associated with the current user.

To configure per-user IVI Driver Settings

1. From the Tools menu, choose Options.

2. The standard Visual Studio Options Dialog appears.

3. In the tree view on the left, expand the Nimbus Driver Studio node.

4. Select one of the preference categories listed below.
