Manually Customizing The Driver Installer

While the Nimbus Driver Setup Designer facilitates the most commonly required installer modifications, you may occasionally wish to modify your driver installer in a way that’s not yet directly supported by the designer. Because the setup designer is just manipulating the WiX source files that are part of the driver setup project, you can always resort to manually editing the WiX source files directly.

Caution

Before making any modifications to WiX source files directly, be sure your solution is checked into a source code control system, or make a backup copy of your driver setup project (or entire solution) before proceeding.
