IVI-COM Item Editors

When the IVI-COM Designer is open, a tree view of the driver methods, properties, and enums appears on the left, while a set of tabbed controls for the selected tree view item appears on the right. As the tree view selection changes, these controls are updated with the details of the selected item. Developers manipulate the selected item by working with these controls. Such an arrangement is often referred to in user interface design as a master-details view. Nimbus uses the term Item Editor to refer to the various tabbed controls available when workign with the IVI-COM Designer tree view.

The topics in this section explain each of the IVI-COM Item Editors in detail.
