Instrument Classes Page, New IVI-COM Driver Wizard

The IVI Instrument Classes Page of the New IVI-COM Driver Wizard allows you to select which IVI instrument classes the driver supports. Check the box next to each instrument class you wish to support. Nimbus automatically adds the appropriate references to the driver project and creates code for implementing and testing the IVI-defined methods and properties in the selected instrument classes. In addition, the driver installer is created so that it properly registers the driver's capabilities in the end user's IVI Configuration Store.

Note
It is not necessary to decide which instrument classes will be supported when running the wizard. Support for specific instrument classes can be added and removed at any stage of development using commands available within the IDE.
