I/O Functions

The functions in this section provide control over creating, clearing and managing the I/O connection between the IVI-C driver and the instrument. When creating an IVI driver that is not using the standard VISA library for instrument communication, several of these functions will have to be overridden in the driver's DriverSession-derived class maintained in the DriverSesion.h file.
