Working With Instrument Commands

By far, the most common way to implement Nimbus IVI-COM driver methods and properites is by specifying an instrument command and relying upon Nimbus to generate all of the necessary code to send the command and, optionally, to read back a response. Nimbus provides a powerful instrument command syntax that allows method parameters and other information to be automatically formatted into the command. In addition, a special editor is provided to assist in composing proper instrument commands.
