Working With Instrument Commands

The most common way to implement Nimbus IVI-C driver functions and attributes is by specifying an instrument command and relying upon Nimbus to generate all of the necessary code to send the command and, optionally, to read back a response. Nimbus provides a powerful instrument command syntax that allows method parameters and other information to be automatically formatted into the command.
